Melissa came to Bjornson/Sentinel E&L in 1996, with 11 years experience on the agency side of the business. She started her career with Bjornson/Sentinel-E&L as a transportation underwriter. In 2002, she was promoted to Branch Manager.
Melissa graduated from Moorhead State University with a degree in Business Education. She earned her CIC designation in 2003.

Jill started her insurance career on the company side of the business. After 16 years working in various areas of underwriting with a company, she joined the Bjornson/Sentinel – E&L team in 1999 as a renewal underwriter. Currently, Jill is an underwriter handling property/casualty business along with garage accounts.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.

Nancy has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. She came to Bjornson/Sentinel – E&L in 1992 as a renewal underwriter. Her background in insurance comes from 16+ years of experience with an insurance company in various positions from customer service representative to assistant underwriting. Nancy currently handles new business accounts for the property/casualty department.

Kari joined Bjornson/Sentinel – E&L in 1994 as a P&C Underwriter. Her insurance experience started on the retail agency side of the business seven years prior to starting at Bjornson/Sentinel – E&L.
Kari earned her CIC designation in 2001.

Dorene began her insurance career with Bjornson/Sentinel – E&L in May 1995 as a Policy Typist. Before joining Bjornson/Sentinel, she received a B.S. Degree from the Minnesota State University – Moorhead in Mass Communications. In 1999, she was promoted to a property/casualty underwriter handling BOP programs and liquor liability. Two years later, Dorene was promoted to her current position as a Renewal Underwriter handling all types of P&C business. In 2001, she obtained her AIS designation.

Candace started her insurance career on the retail side of the business in 1986. She joined the Bjornson/Sentinel – E&L team in 1991 as an assistant underwriter. Within a short time, she was promoted to a new business underwriter.
Candace has continued to expand her knowledge by taking various education classes.
