Custom Farming – Our markets write farm machinery operations by contractor, also known as, custom farming. Spring and Summer field work is in full swing. We write farmers and related businesses while they are doing commercial work for other farmers. There are many types of operations that qualify. Some include planting, cultivating, fertilizing, baling, harvesting, etc. Ground application crop spraying coverage is also available.
Farmers put in very long days from sun up to sun down. But between their own field work, they and their equipment may sit idle. They can purchase coverage to go help other farmers with their crops and farm operations. It’s a way to generate income to help pay for the many types of equipment required on their own farm.
